Last time I had a feedback of that kind I first felt a "pain", a "sting". Then I thought, okay, this person is one out of 80 millions in my country. Looking at it this way made it easier in a first step. I consciously decided to have a nice day - just accepting and respecting the opinion of someone who has different likes and dislikes.

Thank you for the picture of the repelling and attracting magnet - it, well I will add this supporting thought.

I have just realized that this posting is from January ;-) well, I submit my comment now anyway.

It does make me smile to realize that Balance is always in play, and how often we forget that! We don't fully appreciate that Abundance in Energetic form when it comes cloaked in the negative.
Even thought I KNOW this in my head AND in my heart, when the experience of rejection happens, I forget to connect sometimes that head and heart, and so feel bad for awhile.
blessings to you, Velma for re-minding me.

Hi Velma,
I will be turning 40 next spring, and have to admit, it has been somewhat of a mixed experience. On a physical level, i am starting to notice changes in my body, my skin and what is particularly hard, I am becoming increasingly unnoticeable to most people, particularly men (and sales people!)

On the other hand, I can understand your mother's comments about life begininng at forty. I found that out at age 13. At that time my mother was nearing the big 4-0, and one day I found a new book in our little library, which was called "Forty - finally!" The author talked about growing up (things I could certainly relate to at that time), and how different women view life after 40. The book had me riveted, and I remember thinking, after having finished reading it - wow, I can't wait to be 40!

Happy belated Birthday!
